TMS Mini Kramer Shear/Ottawa Cell

The TMS Mini Kramer Shear Cell is a smaller scale version of the standardized shear cell used for bulk analysis of particulates.
This miniature version of the Kramer Shear Cell is ideally used to measure softer particulates, which do not require the high force robustness of the larger cell.
The Mini Kramer Shear Cell consists of 8 narrow 2mm thick removable blades with a corresponding bottom cell measuring 53mm.
The fixture can also be used for Ottawa cell extrusion testing as it is supplied with the appropriate plungers and blanking plates. As the plunger is lowered the food is compressed and then extruded, measuring the firmness of the sample.
