ST-1   THIN SLICE TENSILE TEST CELL ST-1 Test Cell

The Thin Slice Tensile Test Cell is used for tensile measurements of cohesion properties or resistance-to-tear (RTT) of thin products such as bologna, poultry loafs, bread and doughs, cheeses, meat patties and other restructured products. The unit is designed with a horizontal worktable and the pin arrangement of the work surface can be changed from inline to staggered by reversing the work platform sections. Many special clamps or holders can be substituted for the pin arrangement on the work platform. The 50-pound load cell is designed as an integral part of the test cell and can be calibrated in either pounds force or Newtons.
