Products Test Cells and Fixtures Penetration testing TMS Junior Multiple Probe Fixture
TMS Junior Multiple Probe Fixture

altThe TMS junior multiple probe fixture consists of nine 45mm long stainless steel probes with a slight radius to each tip. Each probe has an individual diameter of 2mm and is firmly fixed within the top assembly generating a 65mm diameter test area. The fixture is supplied with a corresponding reversible base plate that is used to support samples during testing.

The upper face of the plate has 3mm diameter holes with a 1mm outer chamfer, which can be used to support or hold small particulate samples such as beans, peas and pulses. The reverse side has 5mm diameter holes also with 1mm outer chamfer to support or hold larger samples.

Alternatively, the rotating nature of the base plate facilitates “multiple punch” testing of inhomogeneous solid products such as meat patties improving test accuracy and reproducibility.
