TMS Standard Fixture Table

Used in conjunction with the TMS range of test fixtures, the Standard Fixture Table from Food Technology Corporation is a vital accessory for performing texture measurements with ease.

Samples can be tested directly on the surface of the base plate provided, for example, compression, penetration and multiple point analysis tests, but this fixture is much more than a simple testing platform.

The fixture is designed so that the base plate supplied can be removed and replaced by other standard Food Technology Corporation test fixtures. Each fixture is securely held in place with the two thumbscrews provided. Its extra height allows test probes to completely pass through samples.

Used in conjunction with the 'T' slot base plate, the fixture table is fully adjustable allowing fine precision alignment under the TMS-Pro or TMS-Console texture analyzer's travelling beam. Dual movement both, horizontally and vertically, means quick, accurate set-up of tests.

The standard fixture table offers significant flexibility enabling competitor fixtures with dimensions up to 108mm x 100mm to be used with the table. This provides the option to accurately replicate tests using the FTC range of texture analyzers.

The reverse of the base plate supplied is designed with a 63mm recess. This enables rapid alignment of Bloom samples used within gelatin assessment.
