Software

Software controls our TMS programmable texture analyzersFor limitless texture measurement potential, where both test flexibility and more detailed result information is required, using a software based texture analyzer is highly recommended.

The software offered by Food Technology Corporation provides a user-friendly interface with which to set-up and perform texture measurements. Users with varying degrees of test programming experience can use the software to undertake a range of texture measurements, whether complex or basic.

Infrequent users will be able to easily pick-up how to program simple routine tests using either the TMS-2000 software or the Texture Lab Pro software in order to gain accurate, repeatable results. More experienced operators have the freedom to design tests from start to finish in accordance with their own distinct requirements and specifications.

Comprehensive analysis tools make comparisons between tests and further interrogation of results a very easy task with many automated features, such as calculations of various texture parameters.

Texture Lab Pro software

Texture Lab Pro Software, TL-Pro, is used to control and operate the TMS-Pro texture measurement system, providing maximised test design, data collection and processing capabilities.

Texture Lab Touch software

Texture Lab Pro Software, TL-Touch is used to program and operate the TMS-Touch and TMS-Pilot texture measurement systems, providing easy-to-use push-button testing, ideal for production areas.

NOTE: TMS-2000 Software is used to control and operate the TMS-2000 research grade system, which is now superseded by our TMS range. Click here for software support (requires login).

Nestle purchased a texture system from Food Technology Corporation in 2006. Since then I have recommended the texture system to several vendors in North and Central America. Staff at FTC was able to develop a simple training manual and procedure for the texture system allowing easy training in short period of time.

From purchasing of equipment through to installation and start-up, the level of personal care and service was remarkable. Shirl Lakeway and his staff at Food Technology Corporation are patient and understanding, and are always at our disposal for any assistance. Since we bought the equipment we have had no problems and feel very secure knowing that we can count on FTC for their support and service.

My first contact with FTC was through buying texture analyzer equipment as my area of interest is Rheology. We faced a problem operating the appliance. The company tried hard to help us through the internet, but the University thought it was better to send me to the company branch located in England. I received a highly advanced training course for 10 days free of charge. They provided me with programs that operate the equipment along with the information needed.

It was a great effort and outstanding support. I would like to thank Shirl Lakeway and FTC for providing me with this opportunity and for his continuous help. Finally, I encourage researchers who are interested in the physical properties of foods and dairy to choose FTC as it is a respectable and dependable company and offers the best deals concerning prices and training with different languages, such as Arabic for the Middle East.
